Chop up the celery, onion, and garlic.
Set instant pot to sauté setting and the olive oil, garlic, onion, and celery. Sauté for about 2 minutes, or until ingredients are softened.
Add in the thyme, lentils, soy sauce, shrimp, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and vegetable broth. Season with salt and pepper. Lock instant pot lid in place and set to high pressure on high for 7 minutes. Once complete, quick release. Serve.
